12 Months

My baby is 12 months old.. This new phase is so fun! Now that Koen is a little older him and Brody are starting to play together. Koen keeps up with Brody going up and down the stairs, hammering tools, cutting the velcrow food, driving the trucks. Koen does exactly as Brody does. It is the cutest thing I have ever seen! It melts my heart each time!
Some of the things Koen does now:
goes up and down the stairs
drinks cows milk and has honey (loves honey)
Loves to play games, like tickle, peek a boo, holding hands and walking back and fourth between me and Tyler
talks on the phone
has 5 teeth
can get down off of furniture, like the couch or chair
says dad
recognizes words like baba, bye bye, Koen, no, momma
loves to give kisses, but not much of a snuggler
prefers his mom over anyone else
he is so mischievous! he explores and gets into everything!
he likes to feed Tucker half of all of his meals. he will dangle it so that Tucker has to take it out of his hand. They both love it. Mom...not so much!
he is a good sleeper and napper
loves car rides

Sometimes we just cant make it through lunch to nap time^^

Likes to play the nabi when Brody isn't looking!^^

I leave one cupboard unlocked for exploring! and Koen investigates it everyday....

We only opened one present tonight,

Koen is having his bday bash on Saturday!

After presents we went and got an ice cream at DQ and drove around looking at Christmas lights while we enjoyed them! It was a wonderful special day with these cute boys of mine. I couldn't ask for anything more and I am so grateful for both of their beautiful spirits in our home.
