8 Months

When I was about 8 months pregnant with Koen I started thinking about Brody's birthday, and by then baby Koko will be 8 months old. I wonder if he will be sitting up, nursing still, crawling maybe? Will he have teeth? Will Brody even like him? And now every time I look at him and see how big he is and all the amazing cute little things he is doing I just am completely blown away how fast time has gone by. It was like yesterday that I was sitting at home thinking about all that stuff! Like I say every time I blog about the one month older posts, its a bitter sweet time. You miss the old stage but love the new one as well! Sad.
At 8 months old Koen is:
confidently sitting up, trust worthy to sit on the tile even!
trying to crawl, he rocks on his knees
has more of a set eating schedule with breakfast lunch and dinner with snacks and bottles in the middle!
his hair just keeps getting blonder and blonder
has the 2 bottom teeth and possibly getting the 2 top
Starting to gain more weight! He is getting a little role on his thigh! We are slowly but surely working our way out of the 2nd percentile people!

We went and took a tour of the Iron Mission. Koen didn't last long but Brody really enjoyed it!

Brody turned 3 "Wreck it Ralph" style

On August 10th Brody turned 3! Such a handsome young little man he is becoming! He is full of so much joy and happiness! He constantly is making us laugh, he cares so much for Koen and is always trying to make sure he is ok. Brody is talking so good now and says the funniest phrases, he always says to me "are you serious?" or "that's a joke!" He tells Koen "Don't touch!" and is always telling Tucker "SH Koen's seeping (sleeping)". I guess it is pretty apparent that I better start watching what I say!

We went to the Lake on the Hill for the day! One of Brods favorite things to do!

24th of July

Celebrating the 24th with the usual traditions..parade, park, mountain, fireworks, and yummy food. We sure are grateful for this wonderful state we live in!
