Random Brody-ness

Brody is almost 15 months now! I can't even believe it! He is getting so big and I love it! He is a good eater and loves peanut butter and honey sandwiches and grilled cheese. He still doesnt like fresh fruit or veggies but will eat pureed fruits and veggies. For dinner he likes to rotate pastas like lasagna or spaghetti rings in meat sauce and sometimes raviolis. He is starting to talk a lot! some of the things he says: bye dad, bye mom, bye brama (grandma), Brody (he said his name clear as day but only one time!), dah (for dog or Tucker), Tries to mimic whatever I say but it usually just sounds like mahhhh bahhh dahhh dooo, babbles all the time on the phone. We are still working on ball and dog and other words like that. He is also finally WALKING! YEAH! He started walking about 2 weeks ago and is just now getting good at it!
Brody is way good at going up and down the stairs and and is super fast at it too!

Being a cutie

All dressed up in his Sunday best!

Brody in his gown at the ER.

A while ago Brody had to go to the ER for a possible Tylenol overdose. Here is what happened.. I was making the bed and Brody was on the other side getting into my night stand as usual so I wasnt even worried about it when he grabbed a pill bottle out of the drawer because I knew exactly what was in there and they are all child proof. So I just let him play with it until I got over to that side of the bed and when I did he had opened the Tylenol PM bottle! IT IS CHILD PROOF! But not for Brody! So he had one in his mouth and the whole bottle dumped on the floor so I fished it out and called poison control in a panic. They told me its pretty serious because of the sleep aid in the pm's and that amount of Tylenol for his little body could be deadly! So off to the ER we go... The nurse tells me we have to be there for at least 4 hours to monitor him, I had no idea so we didnt have any food except what was already in the diaper bag which wasn't much! Then after a couple hours he has to drink activated charcoal so that the toxin doesnt go into his bloodstream and that was interesting trying to get him to eat that. If only you could have seen me! :S anyways 4 and a half hours later they let us leave and it turns out he didn't swallow one! Thank heavens! Now all my pills are locked up tight! Just because its child proof doesn't mean its Brody proof!
