Tyler is 29!

Since we did a big birthday surprise while we were in Vegas we kept it simple on the actual day which was Monday. So I just cooked Tyler the dinner he requested and we had a small family gathering afterward with cake! This is the meal that Tyler wanted...fried chicken that I have never made before! and he only wanted yellow foods, no green! So I made fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and corn bread. He wanted corn on the cob but it just wasn't in the cards that night so he had to settle for regular corn instead!

The 4 Year Mark

Ty and I celebrated our 4 year anniversary on July 19. I cannot believe we have been married this long time has just flown by! Since Ty and I are usually out of town or not even together for the big day we decided to do something awesome! So we booked 2 nights at the Aria Hotel in Vegas and it was amazing! The first night we went to Steak n Shake and then went to Spiderman in 3D. It was such a good movie!

 The next day was our anniversary so we got all dressed up and went to a really nice dinner at Jean Georges steak house. Then I had a big birthday surprise planned for Ty.... We took a helicopter tour of the strip! I was so excited because Ty had never been on a copter so I just knew he was going to love it!

Gubler Reunion

My dad came into town for the Gubs reunion so we spent a lot of time together. Brody and I drove to St. George everyday for a week! He was pretty wore out by the time it was over! and so was I! We did a Zions hike one of the days, just the short one to the Emerald Pools and it was really fun!

 After the hike we did some swimming in the river. It was so hot I never wanted to get out of the river,

 I thought I was going to die!

 Then Saturday was the Gubler reunion, it was supposed to be in Pine Valley but we got rained out so it moved to the park!

 Brody loved the slide! He made Aunt Brandy slide almost the whole day!

Its always so good to see all the Gublers! There are so many of us we usually only get to see each other at the reunions so thanks heavens we have them every couple years!

4th of July

Hooray for our first fourth of July in Cedar since we have been married!! Our day was filled with parades, parks, lunch, mountains, hot dogs cooked on an open fire, and fireworks! What a great day!

Life Lately

 Attempting to swim in grandma Jan's pool but its not like the aquatic center (really Shallow and then deeper) so it doesn't quite meet Brods standards for pool time.

 Hopefully we can try again sometime and he will enjoy it!

 Tyler watches Gold Rush and now he thinks he is a gold miner.. No joke!

But he did actually mine this gold so we will be supportive!

 We discovered the splash pad in towne square in St. George yesterday and it was so much fun! I cant wait to go back when I am more prepared, I didnt really know what to expect! But we love it!

Fathers Day

I have so many great men in my life to celebrate on Fathers Day. My dad, step dads, dad-in-law, grandpa, and last but not least my hubby! I feel so blessed to have so many great examples in our lives for Brody to look up too and I cannot express how much each and everyone of you mean to me!
But most of all I'm so grateful for the father of my babies, he is a wonderful, sweet and caring husband who always puts his family first. I don't know how I got so lucky but Brody and I sure do love you Ty!

For those who aren't Aware

      We are having baby number 2! At this point I don't know how anyone wouldn't have known we were expecting unless you haven't seen me or are just out of the loop! Because in all honesty I have been showing since I was 6 weeks prego! So its been pretty hard to keep a secret :). We are due December 17 and are so excited about our little Christmas baby!
       I am finally out of the first trimester so I am starting to not feel so tired. I'm not that girl who throws up the whole time but oh my goodness I do get so tired and things give me the heebity jeebity's more often so I'm glad to be out of that stage so that I have the energy to chase around my little monkey! We are so excited :) YAY!
