What we have been up too lately!

 Lately we have been just enjoying the warm weather and being able to spend more time with Ty. Tyler's work shift got changed so now he works 3 12's with 4 days off or 4 12's with 3 days off, so it seems like we get to see him a lot more now!

 Below is Brody and Myla, the cutest little swimming partners ever!

 Brody went to his first dentist appointment, he cried and didn't love the cleaning part but other than that it wasn't too bad. No cavities!

 So I really didn't know why this eclipse was supposed to be so awesome but after I had seen it; it was totally awesome! We sat outside and watched the moon move directly in front of the sun, pretty cool stuff!

Mothers Day

Being a mom is like no other job that I have ever done. It is wonderful and fulfilling, hard and draining, unexpected and surprising. So many emotions that consume you in every day life! Some days I just think I am so blessed and I have the sweetest little boy anyone could ever ask for, or like today I just wonder how I am going to make it till bed time! But you do and the day goes on good or bad but at the end of everyday I am still a mom to an amazing little boy who is healthy and growing and learning all because of me. When I think about just how much he needs me and depends on me it just makes me smile :)

I love being a mom to my little babe, and I am grateful that my mom was such a good mom to me, and grateful to my mother-in-law for raising such a wonderful son! I Love Mothers Day because I love being celebrated as a mom and celebrating all the moms in my life!

Brody Update

 Brody is literally a blink of an eye away from turning two! This is crazy! He is so independent and doesn't want me to help him with anything, unless you count feeding him because he doesn't like his hands dirty! That's all I get to do, how exciting for me right! :)

 Brods got this little movie player from grammy and gpa Gubs and is completely in love with it!

 Ty and Brody have been working hard to build a pergola in the back yard and its almost done! Ill post pics of the finished project later. I'm so excited to have a nice place to play outside for the summer!

 Lately I will suddenly wonder where Brods is or why he hasn't followed me down stairs like usual... well he has discovered how awesome his room is and loves to be in there! He gets all of his toys out and plays and watches tv, hangs out with Tucker, reads books, colors, and just enjoys life in his bedroom!

 

 I love this little man so much! He brightens my day everyday!

Easter Vacation part 2: Las Vegas, NV

We Flew from Atlanta, GA to Las Vegas on Saturday to finish out our Easter week with the Lambeths! First thing first we went to Steak n Shake! Ty Loves it more than he loves me! No Joke...

We woke up Easter morning to find that the Easter bunny found us!

Easter Vacation part 1: Gatlinburg, TN

For the first half of Easter vacation my dad flew us out to Georgia! We then drove from Atlanta to the the Great Smoky Mountains, home of Gatlinburg TN.

The first day we went site seeing through the mountains

Brody was in a "mood" that day...

They call them the Smoky Mountains because the clouds get down so low in the mountains and they always look smoky. Its pretty awesome!

After site seeing we went downtown Gatlinburg. It was nothing like I was expecting! There was people everywhere! It was like being on the strip in Las Vegas!

We started the next day with the aquarium which was really fun but kinda gave me a headache!

Next stop was the Go carts (which by the way I was the #1 Go cart rider of the whole family! Even Ty!), it was really neat because it was like a huge carnival with all of these rides!

After the carni we came back to the cabin to relax and take a break in the hot tub before hitting the town again for dinner!

We had a great trip! It was short but sweet .. Im so grateful for my dad and Angela that they made it possible for us to come out and see all of the family and have such a wonderful time!
