oh what a BLESSING

Brody was finally blessed on the 24th of October, I know I waited a way long time but i have good reasons! I really wanted my dad to be here for the blessing so Ty and I decided to wait until he came to Utah for the deer hunt. It worked out great and he was so grateful to be here for that and be able to stand with Ty up there. Anyways Tyler did so great, I have never been so proud in my life, I was crying the whole time! It was a really special day and we were able to spend it with all of our close family. Thanks to everyone who came :)

2 Months

I cant believe it! Brody is 2 months old now and growing before our eyes! He will smile at you, and he is getting really good at holding his head up but cant quite hold it up long enough to go in the Bumbo, almost though! He is so much fun and I am just loving all the different stages he is going through! At first I would start to cry every time i thought about him getting older but now I'm starting to be ok with it because he just lights up my world every time he does something new!

1 Month!

Happy one month to Brody! I cant believe its already been a month, I absolutely love this little man and cant imagine my life ever without him! He has touched our lives so much and brought us so much joy! He is already becoming such a big boy and is growing right before my eyes! He is already wearing 0-3 months and thinks he can hold his head up! He also moved to 2 1/2 oz bottles of boob, what a chunker!

Labor Day Weekend

My birthday was on Friday of Labor Day weekend so we decided to go to dinner with some of our besties to celebrate! It was a fun day and Tyler got me exactly what i wanted :). I told him i wanted a fire/flood proof box to put all Brody's documents in and a few other special things, im super excited about it! We celebrated my birthday with the family on that Sunday at the Lambeth's! What a great Birthday :) Thanks everyone!

On Labor Day we went up to the mountain to cook dutch oven and it was a lot of fun :) It was Brody's first time up the mountain!

New Born Photo Shoot

Ty and I decided it would be kinda fun to try and take Brody's newborn pictures by ourselves because we just bought this super nice camera, and Tyler is pretty good at stuff like that anyways so we gave it a go! Don't be fooled it's so much harder than it looks! There was baby poo and pee everywhere, all over every blanket and myself. We had heaters running trying to keep him happy and we were both sweating to death! We took pictures all day long and we ended up with about 6 that we actually liked :) but it was a fun experience and i think after we finally got them all put together they turned out pretty good!

Life with Brody in it is so rewarding! I love being a mother and Tyler is such a great dad! We are finally getting used to not sleeping as much at night, but hopefully soon he will start sleeping longer little by little... :) He is such a good baby, he doesn't ever really cry he just grunts and makes "man" noises haha he is 100% boy! I love it!
So as you can tell I have been a super big slacker with blogging so the pictures from the beginning of the post to the end of the post you can tell a HUGE difference in Brody and how much he has grown!!

Tonight Brody had his first official soaking bath time! Last time i tried to use his chair he was still a little to small and his head was falling all over the place, so we tried again and he loved it! He sat there and soaked for like 15 minutes and loved life!
