Tucker Has a BooBoo

Tucker taking it easy with Tyler's blinkeys! He deserved it!

Tucker and I went to work on Tuesday morning as usual, I worked on getting the equipment ready and Tucker attended the sales rep meeting. After we were finished with our duties we left the office and came home to do a little cleaning. An hour goes by and then Ty comes home to have lunch before heading out for the day. Well Tucker is jumping all over Tyler and playing around and then the next thing you no there is blood everywhere! I immediately grabbed Tucker and took him to the sink and that's when i saw his finger nail. His middle nail on his right paw was bent all the way back and hanging on by a thread. I started blacking out and called Ty in and eventually we got it cleaned up and taken care of. Somewhere in the mix of the meeting and the playing with Ty Tuckie got a real bad booboo. He has to wear a home made cast on his foot and he hates it. He wont play with anyone or even come outside, he thinks he looks dumb. Haha! Anyways, I took the bandage off today and it is doing better and doesn't look like its infective so that's good!
Tucker is having a really hard summer and cant wait to come home, and he isn't the only one! We have had to take Tucker to the doctor for allergies several times now! Tucker and the eastern coast do not mix well together! .. Anyways I have been a slacker on my blog lately, and unfortunately all i have to blog about is Tucker's toenail! Ill try to do better and get going on some good blog adventures!

Hooters!

Another Sunday has come and gone, but this time we decided to just stay close to home and spend time with our friends. Ty and I met everyone at the pool and just laid out all day, it was so nice to relax for once! Usually Ty doesn't love the pool but he was pretty good that day, he even took his shirt off and wore flip flops :). After a few hours at the pool we came home and got ready for HOOTERS. The reason we went to Hooters was because it was our friend Travis' birthday. He loved it! The food was not so good though, it was actually really really sick! But it was a super fun atmosphere and we were glad we went!

Tucker's first Birthday!

It was Tuckie's first birthday and so we decided to have a party! His new best buddy Lewie came over for some cake and they just loved it! We even put a candle on the cake and everything, it was super cute! On the night before his b-day I ran down to this pet store just right down the street called Braxton's and they actually sell dog birthday cakes so I got Tuckie the honey and oats one! (Tyler secretly wanted to have a bite of the cake cause it smelled delicious!). Although Tuck and Lewie had a wonderful time, he still misses his Cedar friends :)

Philadelphia Zoo

For Memorial weekend Ty and I went to the zoo. The word on the streets is that the Philadelphia Zoo was the first zoo ever. They were also celebrating their 150th anniversary! For all of you that don't know me that well I LOVE ALL ANIMALS!!!! And I wanted to take this hipo home with me :) she was so cute! Thats right she is a girl and she weighs 4500 lbs and she loves to play with this blue ball that you see her with! How cute is that! Anyways the zoo was super hot and muggy and we thought we were gonna pass out, so after the zoo we went and found the home of the "original" philly cheese steak. I didnt love it, infact i felt like i was going to barf but Ty just ate it right up! There are two place that claim to be the original and know one knows who really is, but we heard Geno's is better but the other one is right across the street and its called Pat's.

Ty and I went to New York City! I LOVE IT! First on the agenda we went to 5th street where all the rich people live and where the first Saks Fifth Avenue was created, also Trump Towers is on 5th street too. We went inside and the walls were made of marble from floor to ceiling I couldn't even imagine what it would feel like to live there. Next we went to Rockefeller Center where they have the ice skating rink and the Christmas Tree, it isn't as big as you would think it is. Next we went to Times Square and holly crap that place is a mad house! Its exactly what you would think it is, like on mtv and all the other times you have seen it on tv its just like that, I couldn't believe it! While we were walking down Times Square we stopped in the Toys 'R' Us store and there was a huge ferris wheel and tons of other fun things :). After that we went down to the Hudsen Bay to aboard our water taxi that took us on a tour of the bay and to the Statue of Liberty, we also saw the Brooklyn Bridge and Ellis Island. After our hour long tour in the freezing rain we went to ground zero where the twin towers used to be and it was so sad, you got a bad feeling even just standing there. Also while we were down by ground zero we walked down wall street and saw the big red square which was really awesome. On our walk back to the car we stopped in a little cafe to get some hot chocolate and tyler saw the black and white cookie that whats his name throws up on Sienfield haha that was pretty funny! Our last stop was Central Park, we didnt get to get out and walk but hopefully we will be going back before our summer ends and we will take a romatic stroll through the park, and also go see the Empire State building :) and thats all! I LOVE NEW YORK!!

Our first adventurous Sunday of the summer! We all decided to go to down town Philly and go see Independence Hall, Liberty Bell, and where they signed the Declaration of Independence. The first picture shows us on the train and it was my very first train ride ever! I'm not gonna lie I was pretty scared.. Once we arrived down town we headed over to go start sight seeing but before we got there everyone decided to try out the culture and have a "philly cheese steak sandwhich" from this ghetto vendor guy! Ah! Luckily no one got sick!

Ty and I moved to Philadelphia PA for the summer to sell alarm systems with vision home security and this is our 3,000 mile trip! I tried to take pictures of each state line and i got most of them except when tyler had the camera, he sucks at taking pictures! It took us a little less than a week to drive here because we took a break and stopped at my dad's. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had to hit the road :)..
