Granny Gubler came to town!

When we moved into our house my sweetest ever little step momma flew across the country to come stay with me and help me with the boys and get some things un packed! We did get a lot of stuff un packed but we also shopped, played, spilled lots of stuff, went to St George a lot, and ate tons of food too! A couple days later dad flew out and spent the rest of the week with us! We seriously loved having them here with us! We miss them so so much when they are gone!

The boys have also gained a new found love for uncle Herb! Which I just absolutely adore! 

Last Day of Pre K

We have seriously loved three peaks pre K and miss Carol so much! Having her for 2 years in a row has really created this bond for Brods, and I think he will remember her until he is all grown up! She has seriously made such a big impact on Brody and I am forever grateful for her! 

here are some things that Brody has learned this year with miss Carol:

lower case letters

writing his name in lower case letters

animals

space

how to properly use descriptive words

he/she/his/hers

and so so much more! 

I just cant even handle that we are heading into year 3 of pre K. We have decided to hold brody back since he is an august birthday. So we will be doing kinder next year! Holy moly! Time needs to slow down!

The past 6 months...

This is what we have been up to for the last 6 months! 

We broke ground on January 29th 

 The footings were poured within the next week

 ..and by week 2 we were almost done framing

 Luckily we were all dried in when the first huge snow storm hit^^

 the snow set us back about 2 weeks, but Ty and I stayed busy wiring the house and painting the window trim

 ...after drywall is done things really start coming together!^^

 finding more things for Ty to do!^^

 painting took about a week longer than planned because of all my trim work I had done.^^

Ta Da!! All Done! We close this week people! I can't even contain myself! 

Easter Weekend

For Easter weekend we decided to escape the cold windy weather and head down to Vegas! Well of course, we only had one nice day of warmth before the cold windy dust storm arrived. We had a wonderful time despite the bad weather, enjoying family, food and relaxing. No swimming this year, but I think we can make up for that this summer! 

The Easter Bunny found us at our hotel room and left eggs everywhere, 

and some fun things in the boys baskets!

Four and a Half {{brody}}

Brods at four and half is really into cowboys, wranglers, boots, trucks, purple jelly sandwiches and hanging out with friends! He is doing so well in school and his teachers love him and say he is such a sweetheart and so polite! We have decided to put him in preschool one more year so that he will be the oldest in his class rather than the youngest, August birthdays are hard! He is speaking with confidence and fully communicates now, he never jabbers anymore and speaks very clear. I am so proud of this little monkey and he is such a sweet little guy! He is definitely my sensitive one!
