Easter Vacation part 2: Tybee Island

off we go!^^
When we arrived in Tybee it was pretty cold and really windy! We all were trying to stay postive and say "oh dont worry the warmth will be here tomorrow!" "Its not going to rain!" YA RIGHT! It rained the whole time we were there! I was so sad and disappointed, it was the first time the boys had ever seen the ocean. I imagined us all playing in the sand and in the warm sun, running through the waves! NOPE!
our first stop was the Crab Shack. It is the local restaurant (not Joe's crab shack the franchise) that everyone was so excited about and let me tell you it did not disappoint! We ordered three of these huge dishes called the seafood broil that come with crab, shrimp, muscles, and craw fish. They cook potatoes and corn in with it as well. I tried the craw fish but i just couldn't do the muscles! Tyler tried them all and surprisingly liked them all too! When the dishes came out Brody about had a heart attack when he saw the craw fish; SPIDER SPIDER he kept yelling! He couldn't even sit at the table anymore he had to leave, and when he would come back he would get the heebity cheebity's! haha!

the sea food broil^^

only in the south is there a crocodile pond outside your restaurant^^

Brody pretend sleeping so we will take his picture^^ haha!
we have arrived at the beach house!!

so we all decided we were going to the beach whether it was windy, raining, or a hurricane! well... if your like me and have never stood on the beach during a storm you will quickly learn that when you are standing on the ocean the wind does not take a breath, it just blows constantly and really hard! so hard that we couldn't set any of our stuff down or even keep our hats on! so hard that the wind was blowing the foam off the ocean. SO HARD that the seagulls were flying in one steady place in the sky!

to get to the ocean from our beach house you walked across the street, over this cute bridge, and then you were there! It reminded me of a scene from nights in Rodanthe!

Brods just wanted to draw B's in the sand over and over and over again!

Easter Vacation part 1: Atlanta, GA

For Easter this year we flew to Georgia to spend it with my dad and Angela. We had the best time spending time with family and touring around the state!

just eating some breakfast and doing cute poses on the bed before we fly out of Vegas!

Koko slept half the flight on the tray tables! yay!^^

We went to this amazing farmers market in down town Atlanta and it was amazing! Everything is organic and shipped in from everywhere in the world!

We all got to go see my dad's shop, and he let the boys ride the car lifts up and down!

We loved meeting cousin Addy! She is so cute!

Tyler earned his keep while we were there and put in some new light fixtures for dad and Angela!
