Just Lately

We have just been laying low waiting for winter to pass with random parks trips on nice days, smoothie and soda runs, and just playing inside!

 Brody celebrated his half birthday on February 10th at preschool. For his class treat with did gift bags with mini notebooks, homemade crayon hearts and stars, and rice krispi treats! It turned out so cute! and he sure felt special! :)^^

 Also! I got a new rug downstairs and moved the old one upstairs to my bedroom! So exciting!

Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! We had such a fun day spent together as a family! Brody was so excited for his little Valentine bag full of goodies! Koen enjoyed what was in his bag more than he loved opening it!

 We decided to spend Valentines Day at home rather than going out. So we took the boys to Grandma Paula's for a little while and we had a romantic dinner and dessert and watched Great Gatsby! Best Vday ever!

For Brodys valentines to his class mates we did " I mustache you to be my valentine" with suckers on the back! It turned out so so cute! He was so excited to share with his friends.

Walking KoKo

Koen has toddeling around for a while now, walking around furniture, and taking a few independent steps here and there. But at 13 months he is officially a walking boy!

 ^^Since Brody has a summer birthday, Ms. Carol wantes to celebrate his half birthday so I am making his classmates little gift baggies for the occasion. Brody loves to color so i thought it would be cute to do fun shaped crayons, a little note pad, and rice krispies of course!^^

 We went to go see Frozen and it has become our all time favorite movie ever!

^^and yes we did take the car seat in for Koen..it worked pretty good! ^^

 Grandma Jan made it up to Cedar to hang out with us for the day, 

so we went out to the park and enjoyed the weather!

Thats all for January! We are ready for spring!

New Years Day

We spent the first day of 2014 out in the sun riding bikes, motorcycles, and four wheelers with the McCurdy's.

 ^^After playing in the dirt all day we went to Buffalo Wild Wings. They were so busy and couldn't seat us all together so the kids had to have their own table. Brody was such a big boy and sat in his chair, ate his food, and only caused a small amount of ruckus!^^

Welcoming 2014!

Happy 2014! I am so excited for a new year to come, and for all the adventures its going to bring. But I get so sad to say goodbye to another year and all the memories that are now just memories. Sad. 

Our night was simple and fun. We went to dinner late when Tyler got off, then went to Walmart and got some candy, then came home. Everyone had a bath and got cleaned up for bed, had some milk/cereal and started our countdown with Dick Clark! 

 Brother! Stay Awake!!^^
