An update on the Brodster!

Brody Quayle is now 2 and a half and oh my goodness he is ALL boy in every way. He just grew up right before my eyes!
At 2 here are some things about Brody
He has an attitude like no other
he is starting to broaden his horizons with food
Likes to be clean and have clean surroundings
Loves hats just like dad
He is aware of when he is going potty and he understands what we need to do but for some reason he still isn't quite ready, maybe sometime this summer we will try again!
He is starting to communicate a lot better! He has been going to preschool and he really enjoys it. He is gaining more confidence with speech and starting to use his words, I think he knows how to talk but gets nervous to communicate. Every once is a while he will just say something in a full sentence clear as day and I about fall on the floor! Point being is that he now says around 50 words and can put them together in sentences. He is still a little behind but I feel like he is catching up!
Tucker and Koen are his best friends! He could play with Tuck all day long laughing and running all over the house. He is such an amazing big brother, he cares so much for Koen and loves to give him kisses and hugs, hold him, give him his binkey, and share everything with him!
Still loves all the classic boy stuff; trucks, cars, driving, making the noises.
he isn't napping anymore
Loves electronics and anything that plugs in, turns on, has a switch, clicks, pops, snaps ect.
thinks he is big enough to clip his own finger nails, and Koens
Loves to color with finger paints, crayons, pens anything creative.
He is starting to have a preference in what he wears and when he wears it!
he loves to play tag, football, and basketball.

Finally a picture of his big boy room!

Sometimes. he wins. and I give him coke with lunch

He is really into guitars and music. I cant wait till he is a little older and I am going to get him into some lessons!
Brody had his tonsils out on March 14. They were so big that they were touching each other, Dr. Pearson said they needed to be taken out immediately!
 before surgery...
 ...after surgery

I love this little monkey so much! He makes my day everyday with his contagious laugh and sweet smile. The terrible twos have not been our friend but I know that someday we are going to look back and laugh at the craziness that is our life right now!

Easter Weekend 2013

Every year we head down to Vegas with the Lambeth's and celebrate our Easter weekend in the sun! As always we had the best time. It was warm and there is such good food and of course the shopping! The only complaint is that it wasn't a long enough weekend...

Brody checking out the chicks at IFA before we left
Happy boys in the morning. Everyone slept surprisingly well in the hotel! YAY!
Good times at Hobby Lobby with Koen!
And of course we swam every free second we had!

We made it home Saturday night so that the Easter bunny could find us Sunday morning!

3 Months

Koen is 3 months old! I know I probably say this in every post but he is just growing up way to fast! If you thought your first one was fast just wait till your second! I don't know if its just because your so busy that time is just a blur but I have to keep reminding myself to stop and take in the moment. I want to remember all of these new things that the boys do everyday!
At 3 months Koen is:
sleeping 10 hours a night
eating every 2 and a half hours
still nursing
starting to be more awake in the day
starting to giggle
so smiley all the time
holding his head up really well
loves to watch Brody, Tucker, mom, the TV, dad
discovered his hands

Mr. Brods is such a cool little dude!

 Koen and Grandpa Jerry
 Brods and Great Grandpa
So so happy and smiley in the mornings!

Just some family time :)
Brody loves to hold Koen and gets so mad when we take him away!
Just some cuteness!

Baby boy and mom!

Blessing Day

Tyler blessed Koen at our house on Saturday March 2, it was such a wonderful day! We just had close family over for the blessing and had lunch after. Tyler did such a wonderful job and I am so grateful for him and our precious boys!

Koen thought Grandpa Ken and Great Grandpa George were so funny!
