Koen Clark Lambeth 12-12-12

Me Tyler and Brody welcomed another sweet little guy into our lives on Wednesday the 12th! My mom came up on Tuesday night to stay the night with Brody so we could sneak out at 1 am for our induction. We got to the hospital and I was already dilated to 3cm. We got everything started and they left us to get some rest! My nurse came back at 5 and said I was progressing fast and that I am now at 4cm. Just a short hour and a half after that I got my epidural which was great because my contractions had barely started coming in strong enough to be uncomfortable. Then Dr. G broke my water and everything came to a stop! The reason being is that little baby Koen had been living in what seemed like Lake Powell! When they broke my water so much kept coming out! Dr. G said he had never seen someone with so much! My stomach shrunk down drastically so because of that my uterus was so stretched out it stopped contracting! So they had to up my dosage of everything and finally we got things rolling again! I fell asleep again around 9am and at 10 woke up with the feeling of needing to push, they checked me and I was at 10cm, I pushed 3 times and out he came! It was so calm and fast and amazing! I nursed him only like 20 minutes after being born and we were cleaned up and in our rooms shortly after that! It was definitely the most relaxed labor I have ever had!

Thursday Koen's jaundice got high and we had to do the lights for the last 24 hrs we were there. He hated the goggles :(

Brody was so happy to see us he gave me 10 kisses in a row right when I walked in! I thought he would have a hard time with the baby being at the house but he actually had a harder time with us being gone. He made himself sick about it and threw up! But now he is relieved we are home and I promised him I wouldn't go anywhere without him anytime soon!

Christmas Happenings

Tyler had to put the lights on the tree for me this year because I think I may have died trying with this big ol belly in my way! What a guy! Love him :)

 And it turned out perfect! I decided to put it in a new location this year because I was bored with it over in the corner! I must say I do love the new spot!

 We went to go see Santa and Brody hates him!

But he isn't so bad if he doesn't have to sit on his lap...

It's Finally December

 Here are a few things we have been doing while waiting for Christmas!

 We had our first snow storm!

We went to St. George to go see Granny and Gramps!

 And I am 38 and a half weeks prego! We are having this baby on Wednesday the 12! We go in Tuesday night to be induced! Wish me luck :)

Thanksgiving

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving! I am so grateful for my family, Tyler, Brody and this new little boy, and all my extended family as well! It was so much fun to see everyone and chat, and Brody had a blast with his cousins!

 Grandma Jan has this awesome jeep and Brody is finally big enough to drive it by himself! So before we went over to John and Nicole's to have our feast we did some jeep driving!

 And then Brody wanted to go for a swim but dad said no, so Brody decided to take matters into his own hands and break into the pool!

 We did some black Friday shopping and this is what Brody wants! Heaven help me what am I going to do if this kid wants to race motorcycles! He is seriously OBSESSED!

Baby at 35 Weeks

This is little boy at 35 weeks! We are now 36 weeks and hopefully I only have 3 more weeks left if Dr. G will induce me when I am hoping he will!! This pregnancy has been crazy different from my others though and I have been contracting quite a bit so who knows maybe he will be here sooner than anyone is planning! And by the way when you have your second child what are you supposed to do with the other one while your having it! Everyone wants to be in the hospital with me! Its a little more difficult this time around... Luckily we got it figured out! I hope...

Xmas Came Early!

It looks like Christmas came early for Ty and I this year... Tyler had been searching for a motorcycle for who knows for how long and he finally got up the courage to ask me if he could buy this one. At first I was like umm No for a whole bunch of reasons... Just a few off the top of my head uhh YOU HAVE A FAMILY AND WHAT IF YOU DIE! Anyways he talked me into it and Brody is obsessed! Obviously Brody hasn't rode it but he sure wishes he could!

 And I got a new entry table! Slightly less dangerous and A LOT more practical! So now Ty and I got our big presents and we can put all of our focus on the kids this year :) I cant wait! Happy Holidays!

Halloween

On Halloween this year Brody and I were both sick with strep throat so we didn't have a very festive day. I thought maybe if we put him down for an early nap he would feel good enough to at least put his costume on and take some pics but he didn't want to get up once he was down, I had to force him out of bed so he wouldn't be up all night! It wasn't a fun Halloween!

 I would post pictures of our cute carved pumpkins but we didn't do that either!

 But on the up side we were home the whole night to hand out candy to all the cute little trick or treaters!
