Life Lately

 Attempting to swim in grandma Jan's pool but its not like the aquatic center (really Shallow and then deeper) so it doesn't quite meet Brods standards for pool time.

 Hopefully we can try again sometime and he will enjoy it!

But he did actually mine this gold so we will be supportive!

 We discovered the splash pad in towne square in St. George yesterday and it was so much fun! I cant wait to go back when I am more prepared, I didnt really know what to expect! But we love it!

Fathers Day

I have so many great men in my life to celebrate on Fathers Day. My dad, step dads, dad-in-law, grandpa, and last but not least my hubby! I feel so blessed to have so many great examples in our lives for Brody to look up too and I cannot express how much each and everyone of you mean to me!
But most of all I'm so grateful for the father of my babies, he is a wonderful, sweet and caring husband who always puts his family first. I don't know how I got so lucky but Brody and I sure do love you Ty!

For those who aren't Aware

      We are having baby number 2! At this point I don't know how anyone wouldn't have known we were expecting unless you haven't seen me or are just out of the loop! Because in all honesty I have been showing since I was 6 weeks prego! So its been pretty hard to keep a secret :). We are due December 17 and are so excited about our little Christmas baby!
       I am finally out of the first trimester so I am starting to not feel so tired. I'm not that girl who throws up the whole time but oh my goodness I do get so tired and things give me the heebity jeebity's more often so I'm glad to be out of that stage so that I have the energy to chase around my little monkey! We are so excited :) YAY!

Memorial Weekend

For Memorial weekend we went up to the cabin to spend time with family, and as always eat way good food! Brody loves it up there, but this time he has a new reason for the love...the four wheeler!

Brody didnt want anything to do with it. I tried to get him to come with me but he freaked out and was to scared. Hopefully once we get him used to it he'll ride one!

What we have been up too lately!

 Lately we have been just enjoying the warm weather and being able to spend more time with Ty. Tyler's work shift got changed so now he works 3 12's with 4 days off or 4 12's with 3 days off, so it seems like we get to see him a lot more now!

 Brody went to his first dentist appointment, he cried and didn't love the cleaning part but other than that it wasn't too bad. No cavities!

 So I really didn't know why this eclipse was supposed to be so awesome but after I had seen it; it was totally awesome! We sat outside and watched the moon move directly in front of the sun, pretty cool stuff!

Mothers Day

Being a mom is like no other job that I have ever done. It is wonderful and fulfilling, hard and draining, unexpected and surprising. So many emotions that consume you in every day life! Some days I just think I am so blessed and I have the sweetest little boy anyone could ever ask for, or like today I just wonder how I am going to make it till bed time! But you do and the day goes on good or bad but at the end of everyday I am still a mom to an amazing little boy who is healthy and growing and learning all because of me. When I think about just how much he needs me and depends on me it just makes me smile :)

I love being a mom to my little babe, and I am grateful that my mom was such a good mom to me, and grateful to my mother-in-law for raising such a wonderful son! I Love Mothers Day because I love being celebrated as a mom and celebrating all the moms in my life!

Brody Update

 Brody is literally a blink of an eye away from turning two! This is crazy! He is so independent and doesn't want me to help him with anything, unless you count feeding him because he doesn't like his hands dirty! That's all I get to do, how exciting for me right! :)

 Brods got this little movie player from grammy and gpa Gubs and is completely in love with it!

 Ty and Brody have been working hard to build a pergola in the back yard and its almost done! Ill post pics of the finished project later. I'm so excited to have a nice place to play outside for the summer!

 He loves to tell great gma and gpa stories. They are just such good listeners!

 Lately I will suddenly wonder where Brods is or why he hasn't followed me down stairs like usual... well he has discovered how awesome his room is and loves to be in there! He gets all of his toys out and plays and watches tv, hangs out with Tucker, reads books, colors, and just enjoys life in his bedroom!

 

 I love this little man so much! He brightens my day everyday!
