18 Months

My little monkey is 18 months old today!!! It has been a year and a half now... that is unreal to me! I look at him and he is so grown up and smart and everything I ever dreamed of! We went to his wellness check-up today and good news! Brody has finally broke double digits for his weight percentile! I'm so proud!
-As of now his stats are: Weight 24lbs 8oz 31%, Height 33" 72%, and head 19" 64%.
Some new things Brody is doing:
-Running. Everywhere.
-Talking more and more.
-He shows me what he wants if he cant get it himself.
-He ate a piece of chicken with us for dinner one night. I almost fell over dead! ( It was disguised in a crescent roll with some cream cheese and stuff so I'm sure that's why he ate it...but still!)
-He can open and shut doors. He has tried to escape several times! I have no idea where he thinks he is going to go...
-He thinks its way cool when I just get him out of the car and set him down and he walks in by himself and shuts the door on me!
-Loves his best doggie Tucker. Its a mutual love now.
-He's still the best baby in the world!! :)

If your wondering why he isn't wearing a shirt in some of these pictures it is because he has a knew obsession...spitting...everywhere! Every time he takes a drink of his sip he spits it right back out! I HATE IT! Hopefully it is just a phase and we will be out of it in no time!

Happy Brody makes a Happy mom!

On Saturday we went to the park and had so much fun. It was a much needed fresh air family outing! Brody is teething horribly and nothing was making him happy except this...

He couldn't get enough!

...and then he discovered the slide! and he loved that even more! He thought he was like 5 and could go up the way steep stairs and go down all by himself...

I am totally loving this weather that we are having,
it's like spring is already here!

Hopefully it will stay this nice so we can keep going to the park and turning a bad day into a good one, until we have to leave the park... then it starts all over!

Happy New Year!

Happy 2012! We had a great New years eve! Ty and I went on a double date with Aubrie and Marty with NO babies! It was so much fun :) we went to Applebee's for dinner, and then went to New Years Eve the movie and I loved it! We had a great time. And after date night we came home, got in our PJ's, and counted down till 2012 in bed.. what a great way to spend New Years!

My New Years Resolutions this year are...
Eat healthier and lose some weight.
Be more creative with my outfits.
Floss everyday.
To put more money in savings.
and be an all around happier more positive person.

Christmas Eve/ Christmas Morning

Ty and I are super lucky that both of our families live close so that way we can spend the holidays with both families! Christmas Eve we went over to the in-laws and made ginger bread houses and played some games! It was a great time except the fact that Brody was sick and SUPER ornery! So we were all having a good time until it came time for Brody to eat so he could have his medicine, at that time all of the Christmas spirit got sucked right out of me!.. But the night went on and since it was Christmas I did decide to forgive Brody for getting spaghetti all over my new outfit and for screaming so loud at me that I went partially deaf!

We had a very Merry Christmas!

We spent the morning half of Christmas Day at the in laws with breakfast and present opening, and the last half of the day down in St. George at my mom's eating dinner and more present opening! We are so grateful for our wonderful families and all the joy they bring to our lives! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Best Time of the Year!

The tree is up, the stockings are hung, most of my presents are wrapped and we are feeling the Holiday Spirit in our home! Brody loves the tree, I always find him going over and looking at it and secretly wanting to touch it... but he knows he can't... so then he tries to put his toe on it instead because I only told him he cant touch it with his hands :) I love that silly boy!

We are counting down the days till Christmas! 2 more weeks to go!
It really is such a magical season!
