Halloween Bunco

For bunco this month we all dressed up and it was so much fun! Jessica hosted a wonderful party with great food! (even though the meat in the spaghetti was elk and she didn't tell me until AFTER I ate it, but I was glad because it was good and I probably wouldn't have tried it if she told me first! You guys know I'm kinda crazy like that..). Here are a few pics of the night!

About 6 years ago I went through something incredibly hard, it made me so much stronger of a person and I grew up a lot! Because of that I graduated early and started hair school and just tried to move on with my life! The biggest thing that helped me move on was this brand new little dog named Toby! He wasn't little for very long, he grew up to be HUGE! The biggest great dane I have ever seen :). He was my new baby. He was loving and sensitive, the best friend you could have ever asked for! Obviously he couldn't move out with me so he stayed with my mom, and became her new best friend as well. This dog was not just a dog to me, he is indescribable, and he has recently just passed away. I know he is in heaven waiting for me and my mom, but I will miss him every day until we meet again. I love you Toby and you will forever be in my heart.

My Birthday Fun and a Brody update!

Well my birthday was kinda a while ago, like 17 days ago :(. But I am just getting around to posting...sorry for the delay! Anyways! It was a great birthday weekend, Brandi and Ty came with me Ty and my mom and Jerry to Milts to have dinner and a surprise cake with us on Friday and then on Saturday I went to lunch with the in-laws, did some shopping, came home and went to dinner and a movie with Ty! It was a great day :). Then Sunday I did absolutely nothing, and Monday the birthday celebration continued with a birthday/family dinner with the Lambeth's!Here's some photos!

A Quick Brody Update :)
-Not walking, but he stands alone walks with things and even has taken a few steps but then realizes and drops to the floor.
-Brushes his own hair
-Helps me put his shirt on
-Hates and I mean HATES brushing his teeth!
-Has 5 teeth
-Waves, claps and high fives on demand
-And that's all I can think of new right now! More to come later :)

Our Day at the Lake!

We got to go to the lake with our good friends the Mccurdy's last Saturday and it was so much fun! We went to Quail Lake, and I haven't been there in so long it brought back good memories! Brody loved the boat and of course Tucker did too!

So while Brody was sitting under this tree eating dirt and sticks and stuff this snake called a red racer came flying out of no where on a dead sprint for my child! I had to jump down and grab Brody and we both did a high jump onto our picnic table! I felt really sad that I had to kill it but it wouldn't stop trying to get us! Let that be a lesson to all things, if you try to eat my child I will KILL you!! :) and I don't kill things so that's a pretty big deal!





By the way Tucker is the weirdest dog ever! He seriously cant swim, well kinda, he sorta bobs up and down rather than going forward! He sure wouldn't be able to keep himself a float for very long! So when I made him get in the deep water with me he like hangs on to me for dear life!



After the lake we went to Myla's one year Birthday party and went swimming! Brody was all swimmed out by the end of this day :)
