9 Months

Brody is...
-Not crawling yet but super close!
-Creeps and rolls all over the house
-Such a smiley boy
-Pulls himself from sitting to standing in his crib
-Refuses to eat anywhere but in the sink! (so annoying)
-Does everything over and over again, like open and shut the drawer, or turn the water off and on.
-Finally has a tooth bump
-Sleeping for 12 hours at a time without waking up
-Feeds himself finger foods
-Loves to taste whatever I'm eating
-Wont eat a bottle unless he can hold it himself (except when he's tired then I have to do it)
-Shows lots of excitement for things he likes
-Loves the bug blanket!
-Such a big boy and its so much fun to see him keep growing and growing!

Momma, Mommy, Mom, Mother

Being a mother has been the greatest blessing I could ever ask for. Brody feels my heart with so much love and joy, he has brought so many blessings to our lives. This 9 month journey has definitely been a challenge but the greatest one of all! Happy Mothers day to all moms! Happy mothers day to my wonderful grandma, my fabulous step mom, my beautiful mother, and last but not least the wonderful woman who raised my sweet husband, Happy mothers day to all of you!

Easter Weekend

Brody had his first visit from the Easter Bunny and it was so much fun! The whole fam went down to Las Vegas and stayed at the Tahiti Village. We swam, ate ALOT, did some shopping, went to the shark reef at Mandalay Bay, and ate and swam some more!

Brody should have been born a fish! He loved the water :)

8 Months

Brody Is...
-8 Months old!! Holly Cow!
-Rolling over and over and over to get things
-Eating whole jars of baby food.
-Loves Cheeto Puffs and Maple Syrup Puffs
-Going to crawl any day
-Not nursing anymore :(
-Says dad now not dada
-Loves Macaroni and Cheese
-And yogurt
-Blows spit bubbles with his lips
-Cries when anyone leaves the room now, even Tucker!
-Loves to watch Word World
-Still Teething!
-Definitely a mommy's boy

Utah Lovin

My dad and Angela flew out to visit us all the way from Georgia! I love when that happens :). We had so much fun just spending time together! Of course the weather was horrible so on Saturday we went to breakfast and were trying to decide what to do all day when Angela and I decided to sew all day long!! YEAH! She is such a great little quilter and I wanted her to try and teach as much as possible in 3 days! We got a lot accomplished :)

My Uncle Rex just found out he has lung cancer and it has progressed so fast in just a couple months, he isn't trying to fight it so its going to take over really fast. I really haven't spent a lot of time with him since I was younger but he really has made such an impact on my life. I love him so much and this visit with him was so hard for me; it was hard to know that this may be my last goodbye. I love you Rex..

Monster Jam 2011

The last weekend in March can only mean one thing...MONSTER JAM TIME! This is now our third year in a row going to the Finals down in Vegas and I've gotta say its a pretty good tradition! We always have such a good time with friends; shopping, eating, swimming and anything else great you can think of :). Brody didn't get to attend this year just because its so loud in there and i was worried about his little ears and I knew for a fact he wouldn't keep the ear phones on so he got to have his first sleep over with Grandma Paula!
